The Chinese Needlepoint Holly (Ilex cornuta 'Needlepoint') is a dense, rounded, multi-stemmed, large shrub with deep, dark green foliage and abundance of red berries. The leaves are smooth-sided, except for one single spine at the tip of each leaf. A low maintenance variety that is heat and drought tolerant.

Uses: Privacy screen, border, accent, or foundation plant. Needlepoint can be trained as a small tree,
