The Upper:

• This Ace Primeknit model switched from using the synthetic material on the normal Ace to a full Primeknit upper
• Primeknit was a knitted material used on various Adidas models over the years and provided a sock like feel
• They also featured a high top dynamic sock collar for a secure, locked in fit

The Sole Plate:

• Adidas used a sprintframe soleplate, with a circular stud shape
• The previous Adidas models used a triangular stud shape, so this was a major change from the previous models

Notes and Comments:

• The upper on the Primeknit was actually quite soft and provided a very snug fit with good touch on the ball
• The sock collar may not have exactly turned out as planned for a cosmetic look, but it is made out of the same Primeknit material for a soft and comfortable fit
